No word from Senator McCain

I guess I'll have to give up on Senator McCain for a while. He appears to be busy doing his thing, preparing the ground for planting his seeds to run for President in 2008. It is possible (some say probable) that he will have lost a good number of those who profess to support him in that race. I notice that he hasn't said anything openly about his continued thinking about Immigration Reform. Our newspaper doesn't say much about it, either; however, I've noticed that our newspaper doesn't say much about the issue of immigration at all -- even though the State of Arizona has more illegal aliens come across our border than any other state. It is a shame, but that is the way it is. Perhaps they don't want to upset those who hire the aliens. Who knows? In the meantime, I'll give my view on other issues. I won't take my eye off the illegal alien issue, though. You can count on that. I'm going to do some ranting about the mid-east issue. I'll gather my thoughts, though; so won't be on this subject for a short while. Stay tuned.
