An especially serious consequence of the Senate version of Immigration Reform

Oh, here is a real shocker, and an eye-opener. I already mentioned the terrible cost to American citizens brought on by the illegal aliens’ use of our facilities—free! Consider this: The Senate version of the Immigration Reform bill would bring into play the largest expansion of welfare state ever, and cost the American taxpayer an estimated $46 BILLION per year. I’ll quote Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation. Mr. Rector says, “. . .immigrants with low education levels are likely to be a fiscal drain on other taxpayers . . . This is important because half of all adult illegal aliens in the U.S. have less than a high-school education. In addition, recent immigrants have high levels of out-of-wedlock childbearing, which increases welfare costs and poverty.” I might add that any child born of these out-of-wedlock mothers becomes an American citizen by default—thanks to Article One of the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution. This is true of anyone born in the United States, of course. Later, I’ll have something to say about this poorly interpreted Article.

"Land of the Free and Home of the Brave."

The Senate version of Immigration Reform left me wondering just who is the "Free" and who is the "Brave" in this great country.

The so called Freedom seems to be in serious jeopardy and the Braveness seems to have lost it's teeth.

Thank goodness we don't have to deal with aliens from outer space. Yet!
