Senate version of Immigraion Reform bill protects employers who hired illegal aliens

I won’t list all 31 crimes related to illegal immigrants that are found in the Senate version of the Immigration Reform bill. Space and time forbid this. I will post only a few of the most egregious provisions that make a mockery of our laws—and one or two at a time. This one protecting employers is among those that do mock our laws. The Senate, tucking it away among 600 pages of legislation pertaining to the Immigration Reform bill, is waiving the rules for lawbreakers, legalizing the unlawful actions of illegal alien workers and the businesses that illegally employed them.

Under current law, simply entering the country illegally can result in a 6 month prison stay and a $250,000 fine. Aiding in that crime carries a similar fine and a 5-year prison sentence. Once ordered deported, an illegal alien racks up $500 per day of continued “illegal presence.” The Senate version of the Immigration Reform bill will wipe all these transgressions clean! For that matter, when have you heard of such prison sentences or fines for either an illegal alien or a business who hired one? So much for the law!
