Perjury and filing false statements related to fraudulently filing Federal tax forms can result in up to 5 years in prison and a fine of $250,000. This is done many times over by businesses who hire illegal aliens and illegal aliens themselves. There are also crimes associated with falsely obtaining a Social Security card necessary to work. Doing this also results in the same prison time and fine. A wide array of crimes related to forging false documents required to obtain work make a mockery of the efforts of those who legally apply for these rights. Remember, the Senate version of the Immigration Reform bill will “waive the rules” for these crimes done in the past. Remarkably, the laws will stay on the books to be used against any “new” law breaker! The waiver will apply to many of those 12 to 14 million who have already broken the laws of our land. Hypocrisy at its best!
Senate version of Immigraion Reform bill protects employers who hired illegal aliens
I won’t list all 31 crimes related to illegal immigrants that are found in the Senate version of the Immigration Reform bill. Space and time forbid this. I will post only a few of the most egregious provisions that make a mockery of our laws—and one or two at a time. This one protecting employers is among those that do mock our laws. The Senate, tucking it away among 600 pages of legislation pertaining to the Immigration Reform bill, is waiving the rules for lawbreakers, legalizing the unlawful actions of illegal alien workers and the businesses that illegally employed them.
Under current law, simply entering the country illegally can result in a 6 month prison stay and a $250,000 fine. Aiding in that crime carries a similar fine and a 5-year prison sentence. Once ordered deported, an illegal alien racks up $500 per day of continued “illegal presence.” The Senate version of the Immigration Reform bill will wipe all these transgressions clean! For that matter, when have you heard of such prison sentences or fines for either an illegal alien or a business who hired one? So much for the law!

Seriousness of the Illegal Alien problem
In no other country has there been such an invasion of illegal aliens occur than in the United States of America. Most of these “invaders” come from countries south of the border between the United States and Mexico. Most of these come from Mexico. I plan to introduce you to some glaring statistics resulting from problems caused by those who are here in our country illegally. Many of our citizens don’t have an idea of what it is costing the American taxpayer to deal with this serious problem. Most news sources don’t carry this information, being part of the problem. It is such a serious problem as I see it that I was prompted to file a Petition to Redress Grievances with the U. S. Supreme Court. I have yet to receive acknowledgement of my petition; however, I plan to persist until I get an answer. Everyone who will take a short bit of time to investigate the seriousness of this problem will be surprised at what is “going on.” At present, the House of Representatives is in the process of working on compromises between their version of the Immigration Reform bill and that which has been passed by the Senate. I’ll have much to say about the Senate’s version – and most won’t be good. More later.

My Current Crusade
I'm from Phoenix, AZ. My state has the highest number of illegal aliens cross into the United States than any other State. With some who cross come drugs, intent to do harm, no plan to be a permanent resident, with plans to work at whatever jobs for which they get hired, send money back to their home country (Mexico, mostly) and to have children who "automatically" become citizens of the United States so they can "use" them to get benefits that otherwise would not be available to them. At latest estimate, there are between 12 million and 14 million illegal aliens in our country. My crusade at present is to do all I can to remedy this situation so that the terrible tax burden falling on the shoulders of the citizens of the United States (however they became citizens) can be lifted and we can prevent diluting of our American culture. At present, political correctness prevents so much to be done about the situation. I feel those responsible for protecting our borders have failed, and I don't mean the Border Patrol. I mean those in the Senate and House of Representatives Chambers of Congress. Like many others of my acquaintance, writing to Senators and House of Representative Members to influence them to think of our American culture first has a high priority. I invite any who agree (even those who disagree) that this is a just and worthy crusade to join me in conversation and discourse. I invite all who agree to do their best to keep America for Americans. Though this is my high priority position, it is surpassed by my support for our armed forces, wherever they are and in whatever they do. They deserve our respect and honor for protecting our wonderful country.
